THE ASHTANGA ROOM TEAM
As it is our home where we raise our son, please be respectful of class times and enter quietly through the garden entrance down the right side of the house. Parking is limited so please park appropriately, a short walk to class never hurt anyone ;-)
As taught in Mysore, India, the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the practice is undertaken 6 days a week, observing rest days on full moon. Student practice the sequence under the guidance of their teacher, who will safely and progressively move them through the practice observing steadiness in each pose and quality of breath before moving forward.
ASHTANGA LED PRIMARY
Led Classes are the more recognisable classes where the teacher talks to the students through the poses for the entire class. Great for learning the correct sequencing of poses, the correct method of breathing and technical aspects to improve balance and coordination.
